The Gold Coast plays host to a number of conferences. What a great place to come to for a conference especially if you stay right on the beach and your apartment looks out over the ocean. Most of the conferences are held in hotels that are not on the beach and offer no cooking or laundering facilities in the rooms.

Recently we have been thrilled to have a number of young families stay at Olympus Apartments at Surfers Paradise. Margaret, the Manager, was an early childhood teacher for 20 years so just loves having babies and young children in the building. She has a “bubby cupboard” which is full of buckets and spades, noodles, balls, little body boards, mats etc. This is open to all guests to help themselves. She also has board games and leggo to keep the kids amused. The famous Surfers Paradise Beach is directly in front of Olympus Apartments and our beautifully heated pool is at the back of our building so the kids can be in the water all day. The beach swimming directly in front of our building is flagged, patrolled and netted so is very safe for littlies. Our half sized tennis court with basketball net is another big attraction for the kids. Cots, high chairs and strollers are all available.

Beachfront Apartments

We have been enjoying a bumper whale watching season. Our guests can sit on their balcony and watch the whales swim past. One baby whale got disorientated recently and was washed up on the beach in front of our building.
The staff from Sea World did a tremendous job in getting the baby whale back into the ocean.
All our apartments have balconies overlooking the beach and the ocean so it is always a very interesting view for our guests watching all the happenings on the beach and in the ocean.

Swimming Pool Upgrade

We have recently upgraded our pool, barbeque and tennis court areas.
Our guests can enjoy our magnificent facilities which now look brand new.
The tennis court has been extended and our pool area now looks superb with all new tiles.
This area has something for everyone including sauna, barbeque, toilet and shower, basketball ring, tennis court, tables and chairs, sun lounges and of course our magnificent pool.
Olympus guests are very spoilt with the ocean at the front of our building and our wonderful pool area at the back of the building.

Olympus Apartments offers our guests a very generously equipped kitchen so you have a choice to eat in or eat out. All apartments have a full fridge, stove with oven and hotplates and all the kitchen appliances and utensils you need to “cook up a storm”.
Although Olympus is a short stroll from many wonderful restaurants and cafes sometimes it is nice to cook in your own kitchen whilst overlooking the famous Surfers Paradise Beach. All balconies have a table and chairs so you can dine and enjoy the panoramic ocean views from the comfort of your home away from home.

Olympus Apartments, situated on the beachfront in Surfers Paradise, is the perfect building to bring the children to during the upcoming school holidays.
It is very definately “Child Friendly”.

Margaret, the Manager, was a teacher for 20 years and has made Olympus into a great place for children on holiday. She has numerous board games, big boxes of lego and K’nex, body boards, bikes plus lots more to amuse the kids. The swimming pool is heated and the flagged and famous Surfers Paradise Beach is right at our front door.

There is free foxtel television and free Wi Fi for the facebook happy munchkins! It is a 2 minute walk along the beach to MacDonalds and all the other shops and restaurants which includes the world’s largest Timezone for kids! Every apartment has a full kitchen and a full laundry so families can eat in and wash all those dirty clothes. Buses run to the Theme Parks every 10 minutes from nearby Olympus and buses run to the airport every 30 minutes.

Gold Coast Marathon Accommodation

Olympus Apartments is situated right on the beach at Surfers Paradise and right on the course of the Gold Coast Marathon.
Each apartment faces the ocean with panoramic ocean and beach and marathon views. You can cheer on the runners from your balcony or from our front lawn which borders the race track.
The Gold Coast Marathon started back in 1979 with 691 competitors in 3 events – Full Marathon, Half Marathon and Fun Run. In 2010 there were 23,812 competitors in 6 events – Full Marathon, Half Marathon, Wheelchair Half Marathon, 10km Run, 5km Challenge and Junior Dash.
The 33rd Gold Coast Airport Marathon is being held on 2nd – 3rd July 2011. Olympus Apartments offers fully self contained 1 and 2 bedroom apartments on track.
