Margaret, the Manager, was a teacher for 20 years and has made Olympus into a great place for children on holiday. She has numerous board games, big boxes of lego and K’nex, body boards, bikes plus lots more to amuse the kids. The swimming pool is heated and the flagged and famous Surfers Paradise Beach is right at our front door.

There is free foxtel television and free Wi Fi for the facebook happy munchkins! It is a 2 minute walk along the beach to MacDonalds and all the other shops and restaurants which includes the world’s largest Timezone for kids! Every apartment has a full kitchen and a full laundry so families can eat in and wash all those dirty clothes. Buses run to the Theme Parks every 10 minutes from nearby Olympus and buses run to the airport every 30 minutes.

Olympus Apartments is situated right on the beach at Surfers Paradise and right on the course of the Gold Coast Marathon.
Each apartment faces the ocean with panoramic ocean and beach and marathon views. You can cheer on the runners from your balcony or from our front lawn which borders the race track.
The Gold Coast Marathon started back in 1979 with 691 competitors in 3 events – Full Marathon, Half Marathon and Fun Run. In 2010 there were 23,812 competitors in 6 events – Full Marathon, Half Marathon, Wheelchair Half Marathon, 10km Run, 5km Challenge and Junior Dash.
The 33rd Gold Coast Airport Marathon is being held on 2nd – 3rd July 2011. Olympus Apartments offers fully self contained 1 and 2 bedroom apartments on track. More and more guests are enjoying the no hasel, no expense luxury of using the internet in the privacy of their own apartment. What better way to browse, email or work on the internet sitting on your balcony overlooking the spectacular Surfers Paradise Beach.

Olympus Apartments now has 2 Japanese speaking staff members working in the building 7 days a week.
We can welcome Japanese guests into our beachfront holiday building and we can assist with all holiday planning in English and Japanese.
We find that visitors from Japan want to be located on the beach in the heart of Surfers Paradise so Olympus is perfect for them.

Most guests booking into Olympus Apartments for the first time request a beachfront apartment with a sea view.
They are unaware that every apartment in Olympus faces the ocean with a spectacular sea view. Every guest can sit on their balcony and watch the surfers ride the waves or the whales swim past during whale watching season.
We have one guest who suffers from diabetes and loved to just sit and watch from his balcony.

He has now lost his sight but still enjoys sitting on the balcony and listening to the waves.

The Gold Coast City Council has just completed a spectacular redevelopment of our foreshore so our guests can enjoy our beachfront position even more.
Directly in front of our building our guests can enjoy easy access to the beach, beach shower, barbeque, new seating and picnic area.
The transformation of the foreshore has truly reconnected Olympus Apartments with the beach and our guests have been delighted with the new amenities.
